DIY: Fabric wall stickers

These cute fabric wall stickers are quite simple to make. Not time consuming, definitely cheap, but the wonder they do to your home....gorgeous!

These are all you need:
  • Fabric ( I picked this African prints cause it's traditional and stylish)
  • Scissors
  • Needle and thread
  • Stacks or straw board ( i used a Carton of a home appliance )
  • Glue
  • Pencil for sketching.
How it's done:
First, trace out and cut your carton to any shape you desire, circle, square or triangle, depending on the shapes you would like to place on your wall. You can make use of any of your eating plates or CD to get your desired shape.

Cut out your fabric and wrap it round your prepared carton, tacking it round like you see in the illustration below.

Pull the thread together to get a neat job. Make a knot to secure it.
When you are done securing it, stick it to your wall with the glue

That's it!
Simple isn't it?

You can follow the same steps in making fabulous alphabet stickers for your kiddies room decor. Go ahead and explore, pick some colorful fabrics for your nursery. Should you have any questions or pictures to share, feel free to ask and share.

Always remember, creativity crowns it all...

...XoXo
